What past participants are saying…

Overall loved the event. I’ve developed a new skill and I’m very grateful for the experience. I practice all the time and now I hand write all my cards. My brother even thought his birthday card was professionally done!

— Yvonne H.

I really love Liz's workshops. They are well taught, she is well organized and the view on her paper sheets from the camera is great! Her calligraphy book on Etsy is also very well done and I learned a lot using it.

— Genevieve

I taught myself basic brush lettering and copperplate calligraphy and this was my first workshop with a live tutor. It was a lot of fun and very informative workshop. A lot of technical tips and things-to-keep-in-mind were discussed that are not usually available online for free. Liz is a very patient teacher and clarified a lot of questions.

— Roli G.

I really enjoyed the event (It was my first time doing calligraphy). Thank you for teaching me. You’re a fun and awesome instructor.

— Paula

I am not bilingual. I speak french all the time. I have appreciate the way what you do. I can see very well and you take your time to do the letters. You don’t speak too fast. It is stimulated me to continue with you in other workshop. Your explanations are clear.

— Louise B.

Your feedback was really encouraging as you went around looking over everyone’s work! There were a lot of tips and great advice, and the pace was good as well.

— Angela

I had so much fun at the workshop! I have been wanting to try calligraphy and hand lettering for awhile but didn’t know where to start. Liz gives helpful and practical tips to get your started.

— Kelsey J.

It was great! You’re such a sweet person and a great teacher. I’d definitely go again.

— Sheila P.

I did like watching you demonstrate your writing live and seeing your artwork. I also love that you went around the tables for a more personal interaction. Couldn’t really ask for more help because I know it’s going to take time and discipline to master brush lettering, nevertheless knowing it only took you a couple years to practice was inspiring, but I’m sure you’ve always had it in you!
